There’s still plenty of summer left, but buzz is starting to build about fall movie releases. The full trailer for Spike Jonze’s Where the Wild Things Are (October 16) just hit the web, “and if it wasn’t already the most anticipated movie of the year, this trailer pretty much clinches it,” says Film Junk. Best Toys Guide rounds up the most anticipated kids’ movies of the fall and has trailers for all of them (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs looks “incredibly silly and fun”). Twitch has the trailer for The IMaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, Heath Ledger’s final film role (though “for me the real story is that this is a make-or-break moment for Terry Gilliam,” says Fanboy). Oxford Film Freak lists new releases through December. BuzzSugar has the first trailer for The Lovely Bones, which opens December 11. Backseat Cuddler’s review: “This looks like a really visually appealing film, but in terms of originality and story I’m not floored.”
